THE ATLANTIC PORT OF BORDEAUX WORKSHOPS, KEY PLAYERS IN THE LOCAL INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE SECTOR, CARRY OUT BOTH MAJOR MAINTENANCE AND PRECISION WORK.

With 5,000 m² of covered industrial space dedicated to major maintenance (and nearly 80,000 m² of space dedicated to industrial projects), Atlantic Port of Bordeaux offers solutions tailored to your requirements.

 

Areas of expertise

 

With recognised expertise in numerous fields (mechanics, metalwork, electricity, drydock/keel blocking system), the workshops carry out maintenance on mobile port facilities (locks, lift bridges and swing bridges, etc.). They also provide many logistics missions (access control systems for cruise ship calls, transport, maintenance, etc.).

The workshops have the projection capabilities and the lifting, transport and assembly equipment needed to carry out your project or any related service.

 

 

MECHANICS

 

A 800 m² workshop with a 5 tonne overhead travelling crane

  • Fitting and assembly for thermal engines, propulsion systems (gearboxes, shafts, controlled pitch propellers) and hydraulics (jacks, piping, distribution)
  • Machining, for turning (conventional horizontal, vertical and CNC lathes), milling, reaming and mortising

 

 

METALWORK

 

A 700 m² workshop with a 5 tonne overhead travelling crane, and a 800 m2 assembly area with 2 overhead travelling cranes (5 tonne and 10 tonne)

  • 400 tonne folding press, CNC folding press, rolling machine •    Steel, Stainless Steel and Aluminium welding
  • 3 m metal cutting guillotine
  • CNC bench-type plasma & oxy-fuel cutting machine 3.2 m x 2.2 m - punching machine

 

Atlantic Port of Bordeaux has welding procedures and qualified welders.

 

 

ELECTRICITY

 

A 300 m² workshop with a 2 tonne hoisting arm

  • Panel builder, network deployment

As historical actors in industrial maintenance and ship repair, the workshops are associated with a design office equipped with the latest 3D CAD tools and advanced production facilities. Teams of experts (design office, specialised designers, work scheduling, control, account managers, logistics) work hand in hand to offer you local, complementary solutions for your ship repair and maintenance needs.

A single contact person supports you throughout your project.

Supported by strong references, the workshop teams work on many key projects, such as the development of shipbreaking and yacht refits at Atlantic Port of Bordeaux.

At Atlantic Port of Bordeaux, the engineering division includes:
