CREATED IN 2022 BY THE Bordeaux Port Authority AND BORDEAUX TECHNOWEST, BORDEAUX TECHNOPORTS IS A TECHNOPOLE LOCATED IN BORDEAUX BACALAN (BASSIN À FLOT DISTRICT), IN THE HEADQUARTERS OF THE PORT OF BORDEAUX.
This site is dedicated to the reindustrialization, decarbonization and digitalization of maritime, port, river and, more broadly, transport activities.
Jointly supported by the Bordeaux Port Authority and Bordeaux Technowest, Bordeaux Technoports aims to host innovative start-ups committed to innovative and sustainable port and maritime activities. Situated on Europe's largest estuary, the Port of Bordeaux is an area of technological challenge, with numerous cutting-edge applications. where cutting-edge applications abound: ship refits and retrofits, the physical Internet of Things (IoT), radar, port information systems, secure navigation, digital river twins...
The Port of Bordeaux is keen to share its know-how in order to meet the challenges of the future for its territory, and also to attract and anchor new talent within an innovation cluster capable of intervening in areas such as low-carbon energy production, electrification of ships, digitization of port professions...

BORDEAUX TECHNOPORTS START-UPS: AT THE CROSSROADS OF TACH AND ECO-ENGAGEMENT?
The start-ups hosted by Technoports are divided into 6 fields of action:

・The refit and retrofit of ships and boats
・The digitalization of port-related professions
・Port and estuary management
・Decarbonization and reindustrialization of industrial port areas
・Industrial ecology and the circular economy in connection with industrial-port areas.
Bordeaux Technoports is already home to the 7 winners of two calls for projects, launched in 2022 and 2023.
These start-ups have been rewarded by a jury of experts, and have benefited from Bordeaux Technowest's support in their deployment (business model, financing plan, legal advice, etc.).
They benefit from access to accommodation in the incubator at the Bordeaux Port Authority headquarters, with privileged access to the maritime, port and river ecosystem to develop in a buoyant economic environment.

Sense Flow
Development and integration of sensors and electronic systems for collecting and processing industrial data to identify risks, track and monitor assets and infrastructures. Development of vibration and data analysis equipment for industrial assets, as well as satellite-based monitoring and precision geolocation equipment: GPS, GNSS, RTK, UWB, RFID.
Molluscan-eye
Connected oysters that act as sentinels for the marine environment: this is the original concept of Molluscan-eye, which uses living organisms as an aid to biomonitoring (measuring the effects of human activities on the marine environment and monitoring the quality of the aquatic environment directly).
optim.aize
Optim.aize helps players in industry, energy and the environment to make better decisions through the development of tailor-made business applications and contextualized, precise, high-performance and independent geographic intelligence solutions (such as amplified vibration analysis).
EcoNautik
EcoNautik offers quick and easy conversion of standard marine combustion engines and generator sets to hydrogen.
Luchrome
Luchrome is targeting the industrial development of electrochromic displays - materials that change color through a difference in electrical potential - as low-energy printing solutions.
ARMEN Initiative
ARMEN Initiative is involved in the technological transition of the boating community (pleasure boaters and professionals) by offering innovative, high-performance, sustainable and environmentally-friendly services and boats.
