INDUSTRIELLE ET
TERRITORIAL (EIT)
EIT is at the heart of the Bordeaux Port Authority's 2021-2025 strategy to renew the port's economic model in ecological and energy transitions.
The EIT approach has a number of objectives:
・Federate partners who are already eco-committed and extend this circle to all players in the port area.
・Develop the attractiveness of the territory by integrating economic players with a sustainable development dynamic and create new activities around this theme.
ACTIONS IN PROGRESS :
→ Phase of "diagnostic" meetings with players in the industrial-port zone to identify potential synergies and/or mutualization.

The EIT approach covers several categories of action:
・Synergiesfor resource substitution,
・Synergiesof resource sharing,
・Synergiesfor sharing services,
・Developmentof new innovative activities that can address identified gaps in economic value chains.
As a support service for the Port of Bordeaux's various ZIPs, the EIT action is positioned as a solutions provider, and aims to support industrial ecology projects, in particular through:
・Institutionalvisibility,
・Searchfor eligible related funding,
・Balancesheet of inputs and outputs (materials, energy, water, but also premises, equipment, expertise, etc.) and possible areas for improvement,
・Accessto EIT technologies from Bordeaux Technoports and Bordeaux Technowest startup networks,
・Solution(s) for decarbonizing activities (short/medium/long term).
