The Bordeaux Port Authority invests in long-term partnerships with local schools, colleges and universities, forging strong links between the professional maritime world, education and training.

Closer ties with the University of Bordeaux.

In 2023, the University of Bordeaux and the Port of Bordeaux signed a framework agreement for concrete collaborative actions to be carried out around the development of the circular economy, innovation and training in higher education.

Meetings and visits organized for the Lycée polyvalent Alfred Kastler.

In 2025, Bordeaux Port formalized its partnership with the Lycée Alfred Kastler, promoting the discovery of port professions for the talents of tomorrow, the development of concrete skills and the support of young people in their career choices.

The partnership has already resulted in several site visits and classroom presentations by port professionals.
