Marine Instrumentation Manager (M/F)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Located on Europe's largest estuary, the Port of Bordeaux enjoys a privileged position on the Atlantic seaboard and at the heart of a major metropolis. With its infrastructure spread over 7 specialized terminals, the GPMB is a key player in the regional economy of New Aquitaine.

As part of the development of its missions and associated technologies (IOT, automation, networks, cybersecurity...), the Information Systems and Digital Development Department is looking for a work-study student in charge of maritime instrumentation, reporting to the Head of the Maritime and Port Access Security Unit, who will help the student identify his/her professional objectives and support him/her in developing his/her skills.

MISSIONS :

In this context, the work-study student will be required to :

Developing IOT uses:

• Contribute to the definition, selection and implementation of an IOT infrastructure
• Developing the use of IOT sensors
• Participate in the selection and implementation of IOT sensors
• Participate in ongoing developments (tidal network, dewatering tools, etc.).
• Participate in the extension of Les Jumeaux Numériques du Fleuve

Securing systems :

• Contribute to system security
• Participate in setting up systems security audits
• Participate in system safety certification

Participate in the management of land access security systems

• Participate in the operational maintenance of land access security systems: access management, video surveillance, anti-intrusion systems, etc.
• Participate in the renewal and implementation of land access security systems  

Participate in the management of maritime access security systems

• Participate in maintaining ship reception systems in operational condition: Radar, VHF, AIS, etc.
• Participate in the €2.8 million EU-funded project to renew ship docking systems. 
• Contribute to the management of ship reception systems 

PROFILE : 

You are studying electronics, industrial computing or embedded systems at MASTER level.

You have the following key technical skills:

• Technical knowledge of IT (networks, operating systems, security, etc.),
• Knowledge of automation (understanding, PLC implementation, supervision, etc.),
• Software development skills are a plus
• Knowledge of industrial IT (application development, system security, communication protocols (MQTT...)

You know how to show :

• Writing and communication skills

THIS POSITION IS AVAILABLE ON A 1 OR 2-YEAR APPRENTICESHIP CONTRACT.
