JOB DESCRIPTION

Located on Europe's largest estuary, the Port of Bordeaux enjoys a privileged position on the Atlantic seaboard and at the heart of a major metropolis. With its infrastructure spread over 7 specialized terminals, the GPMB is a key player in the regional economy of New Aquitaine.

Working within the Revenues and Financial Analysis Department, under the authority of the Department Manager and his/her deputy, the accountant will be mainly responsible for customer invoicing and controlling accounting entries.

MISSIONS :

In this context, you will carry out the following tasks:

・Creation and modification of third parties,

・Participation in various periodic or one-off accounting tasks (during inventory periods: checking and entering accrued income, accrued expenses, tallying account 408 ...),

・Participation in customer invoicing,

・Technical control of accounting, budgetary and analytical allocations of purchase orders and payment requests,

On customer billing :

Issue of all GPMB customer invoices and credit notes:

✓ Tariff creation and combination,

✓ Verification and correction of accounting entries,

✓ Print and send invoices.

PROFILE : 

You have a BAC+2 diploma in accounting (BTS Gestion PME/PMI; BTS Comptabilité et Gestion des Organisations, etc.) with at least one year's experience.

You have the following skills:

・General accounting knowledge,

・Sort, analyze data related to job tasks,

・Master office and IT tools,

・Ability to adapt to in-house tools and software.

You know:

・Organize your work and manage priorities,

・Demonstrate responsiveness, rigor, methodology and availability,

・Prend initiatives to facilitate the operation of the Receipt and Financial Analysis Department,

・Maintain very good interpersonal skills with the internal and external work environment,

・Control and use figures with method and rigor,

・Report to line management,

・Work as part of a team,

・Respect the confidentiality of information processed or communicated.
