Electrician (M/F)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Located on Europe's largest estuary, the Port of Bordeaux enjoys a privileged position on the Atlantic seaboard and at the heart of a major metropolis. With its infrastructure spread over 7 specialized terminals, the GPMB is a key player in the regional economy of New Aquitaine.

Working in the ENERGY division, under the authority of the Team Leader, the Electrician (M/F) will be responsible for the following tasks:

MISSIONS :

Curative and preventive maintenance :

・Locate, diagnose and repair electrical, electromechanical or electronic faults or malfunctions.

・Control and check equipment, installations and materials, at the various stages of intervention using measuring devices.

・Proceed with trials or functional tests.

Electrical cabinet wiring :

・Choose cables and circuit breakers, fuses, contactors... according to the electrical diagram, device rating or wiring plan.

・Dimension and assemble supports (frames, cabinets, rails, trunking, etc.).

・Check wiring against drawing.

・Check electrical continuity of wiring and make adjustments prior to power-up.

Construction sites :

・Participate in cable pulling work.

・Connect and install electrical boxes and cabinets.

・Operate work at height on public lighting installations and premises.

PROFILE : 

Ideally, you have a 2-year higher education diploma in electrical engineering or automation, with some initial professional experience.

You have the following key skills:

・Knowledge in the fields: electrical, electromechanical, electronics

・Basic knowledge in related technologies (automation, electronics, speed variations, hydraulics, industrial computing, hydraulics, welding ...)

You know:

・Demonstrate organization, method and rigor in execution

・Demonstrate good interpersonal and teamwork skills.

・Demonstrate gestural skill and dexterity

You are fit :

・ Carrying heavy loads

・Work in special conditions and positions (working at heights) and in confined spaces
