Mechanic fitter (M/F)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Working in the Mechanics Department, under the authority of the Team Leader, the Fitter Mechanic will be responsible for the following tasks:

MISSIONS :

・Adjusting, assembling and checking mechanical parts in compliance with the manufacturing file (drawings, specifications, tolerances) quality, safety and environmental requirements.

・Machining operations integrated into fitting and assembly activities.

・Control of the finished product.

・Identification of faults, malfunctions in order to make modifications, readjustments.

・Operations to repair port equipment.

PROFILE : 

Ideally, you have a vocational baccalaureate (or equivalent professional diploma/title) in mechanics (HGVs, Public Works) or a 750 kW or 3000 kW merchant navy mechanic's certificate.

You have the following key skills:

・Experienced in assembling hydraulic and pneumatic components and circuits, reading blueprints.

・Knowledge of materials.

・Polyvalence to adapt to a variety of mounting types.

・Experience in lifting and handling (naval or public works).

・Mastery of machines (setting, use) and manual tools (files, scrapers ... ) or automated to adjust or assemble parts.

・Use of conventional metrology and measurement equipment.

・Design the sequence of operations required to fit or assemble the parts making up a sub-assembly or assembly.

・Notions of diesel engine operation.

You can demonstrate :

・Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.

・Organization, method and rigor in execution.

・Adaptability and responsiveness.

You are fit :

・À porter des charges lourdes < 38 kgs.

・To work in special conditions and positions (working at height) and in confined spaces.

・To adapt to the time constraints required to carry out the various assignments (overtime, 3×8 work, Saturday work ... ).
