JOB DESCRIPTION

Working in the Boilermaking Department, under the authority of the Team Leader, the Boilermaker will be responsible for the following tasks:

MISSIONS :

• Shape and cut metal and other materials after tracing, from drawings, diagrams or model parts,
• Assemble using a variety of processes: tacking, welding, bolting, gluing, etc.

PROFILE : 

Ideally, you have at least a level 4 diploma: BAC/PRO "Réalisation d'Ouvrages Chaudronnés et de Structures Métalliques", "Technicien Chaudronnerie Industrielle" or equivalent professional qualification. Additional welding qualifications would be appreciated.

You have the following key skills:

• Read a map,
• Use appropriate hand tools and machines,
• Assemble and check parts according to drawings and instruction sheets,
• Determine the sequence of operations required to produce the part or boilermade assembly,
• Welding and oxy-cutting,
• Design and produce inspection tools and jigs.
• B driving licence

You know:

• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Demonstrate organization, method and rigor in execution
• Demonstrate adaptability and responsiveness
• Comply strictly with safety rules and instructions

You are fit :

• Carry heavy loads
• Work in special conditions and positions (working at heights) and in confined spaces
• Adapt to the time constraints required to complete the various assignments (overtime, 3×8 work, Saturday work, etc.).

There will be "trade" selection tests, as well as aptitude tests for working at height.
